Detailing

Detailing is a process of taking care of a vehicle to keep it in best possible condition. This is achieved by removing both visible and invisible contaminants from the vehicle's exterior and interior.

Its a good idea to do a simple interior and exterior maintenance at least once every 2-3 weeks. Interior of a vehicle accumulate a lot of dust and germs over time. Interior detail is first of all is about making sure that the space where you spend hours of your life is clean and only after that protected from elements.

Exterior of a vehicle we like to compare to a suit that we daily drivers wear every day and how this suit looks depends on us. Lots of time we see fairly new vehicle with rust spots, swirl marks, dull paint etc., all of that is a lack of simple maintenance. Bird droppings, tree sap, bugs, road salt in a winter, even rain
will affect the look of our vehicle. Over time those and other factors will damage our clear coat.
Simple wash and rinse for exterior, vacuum and wipe down for interior will help to maintain vehicle clean and you healthy.

At MP Detailing we have approximate time lines that we provide in description for each service.

Spray wax is a convenient way to apply a layer of wax protection on your vehicle without having to use a lot of elbow grease. It's essentially liquid wax that is thin enough to be sprayed, giving your car a nice shine and providing UV protection.

Sealants are similar to waxes but are not naturally occurring products. Lasting longer than waxes, they're engineered and chemically formulated to provide an acceptable level of protection for your car's paint.

Spray on ceramic coating is a more affordable and easier to apply version of a traditional ceramic coating. It will not last the 5-6 years of a traditional pro-grade ceramic coating, however they can still last a long duration of time.

All those products have hydrophobic effect when applied, just poor water on a surface if water beads of the surface, your coating is still working.

Paint correction is the process of permanently removing surface scratches, swirl marks, hazing, marring, and other imperfections on a vehicle's paint.

Ceramic Coatings

Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle's factory paint, creating a
layer of protection. usually last from 1 and up to 10 years as some manufactures clame.

Ceramic coating will provide better protection of your vehicle then just a clear coat but only to certain extend.

It will be, hydrophobic effects of ceramic coating help vehicle to stay looking cleaner longer periods of time, although you will still need to make sure to wash and decontaminate paint of your vehicle properly.

Yes it can, Ceramic Coating can be removed from paint, some of a clear coat of a vehicle will be removed with it.

There are a lot of debates in regards of that, with the knowledge and experience that we gathered at MP Detailing we do not recommend to put Wax or Sealant on top of Ceramic Coating due to hydrophobic effect of Ceramic Coating and other factors.

Ceramic Spray can be applied as a booster to a vehicle after it being Ceramic Coated. To do it properly paint of the vehicle need to be decontaminated in proper manner.

MP Detailing chose not to apply Ceramic Coating to vehicles that have not being polished or have paint scratches and swirls.

We do not apply Ceramic Coating to single stage paint or any original paint of classic and collectible vehicles.

MP Detailing care about your vehicles and want to provide services only that vehicle require.
